Changing the looks

Nachdem wir heute wieder so bescheidenes Wetter hatten,habe ich mich etwas im Haus ausgetobt.Die Gestaltung der einen Schlafzimmerwand störte mich von Anfang an.Die Idee einen Kranz in einen Bilderrahmen zu hängen hatte ich im Netz gefunden und fand sie richtig klasse.Nachdem ich damit fertig war,fand ich das dann irgendwie gar nicht mehr so dolle,lach.Aber eine bessere Idee hatte ich auch keine....bis heute. Ich zeig Euch erst mal ein Vorherbild.

Since the weather wasn´t all that great I figured I´ll work around the house a little. The wall next to the side where I sleep was bugging me the whole time.In the web I found the idea of hanging a wreath into a frame.That sounded great,but after I was done with the job it didn´t look so great after all,lol.But since I could not come up with a better idea it just stayed the way it was.Until today...I knew what to do.This is a picture of how it looked before.

Aber jetzt schaut mal auf´s nächste Bild.Ich bin mit dem Ergebnis wirklich happy.Wie findet Ihr den neuen Look?

Ich habe dann gleich noch die alte Leiter stark abgeschliffen.Dann konnte ich endlich auch die französische Decke auf´s Bett legen.Ich mußte sie mehrmals waschen und auch einmal in Chlorix einweichen,damit sie wieder weiß wurde.
I went ahead and distressed the old ladder heavily and I could finally put the old french quilt on the bed.I had to wash it twice and let it soak in bleach so it came clean and white again.

Ich finde jetzt wirkt das Schlafzimmer viel gemütlicher.Habe bei Eb*y noch dieses kleine Bild für wenig Geld bekommen,total niedlich wie ich finde.
I believe that the bedroom looks alot more cosy than before.I also got this little picture at Eb*y for little money,don´t you think it´s cute?

Hier zeig ich Euch mal eine Nahaufnahme von der Bluse,sie wurde so aufwendig hergestellt.
Here´s a close-up from the blouse,that must have taken quite some time to produce it.

Hach was würd ich das Blüschen gerne mal tragen,aber ich könnte 100 Jahre Diät machen und würde immer noch nicht reinpassen,lach.
I would love to wear this blouse,but no matter how long I will diet,I will never ever fit in it ,lol.

Morgen werde ich Belinda zu ihrem Garten-und Brocantetag besuchen.Ich hoffe ich kann Euch schöne Bilder mitbringen...
Tomorrow I will vistit Belinda and I hope to bring some nice pictures from her garden and brocante day.Before I´ll end this post I want to share a poem with you,it touched my heart.
